Since its debut in 1995, the Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan, with its warm glow and festive spirit, has marked the start of the holiday season for millions around the world. This year’s reimagined version, crafted by Pereira O’Dell’s AI lab, Silverside, captures that same magic—integrating AI as a creative tool rather than the creator.
Although advanced technology was key, Silverside AI’s team of art directors, artists, animators, and musicians worked together to 'bring the caravan back.' Their expertise preserved the nostalgic charm that’s been captivating audiences for nearly three decades. Originally, a project of this scale would have taken over 12 months, but with the help of AI, our talented team brought it to life in just two months.
Rendering 10,000 frames, creating 5,000 video segments, and involving over 40 creatives across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia—including a live choir—this project pushed the limits of AI while highlighting the irreplaceable human touch. Using a blend of proprietary technology and market AI tools, Silverside AI empowered our team to generate top-level ideas and collaborate with Coca-Cola seamlessly, enabling rapid customization for different regions in real time — showcasing that AI, combined with human creativity can elevate storytelling to new heights.
As one of the first agencies selected for Coca-Cola’s inaugural AI roster, Silverside AI has breathed fresh life into this beloved holiday classic, showing how AI can amplify creative vision while preserving the timeless appeal that makes the Coca-Cola Caravan so iconic.
